Hello and Welcome to my Hat company! I’m Jess Dean owner and creator! I started this business in 2022, I had stepped back from my “real job” and wanted to let my creativity flow! I love wearing hats and saw some designs on hats that I thought I could definitely accomplish on my own. I did it and that started it all!
I have learned to hand make real fur felt hats! I hand form them over a hat block, sand them, cut them, and shape the crowns. I hand make all the hat band and also the sweat bands and liners inside the hats. It is a rewarding process. I can fit your head and make a hat that fits you from bottom to top!

WHAT IS FELT?
Felting is the process of taking animal fur and making a compact material that can be used for clothes, shoes and hats.
There are a few types of felt in our modern world: Fur, Wool, Rayon, and Acrylic. They differ greatly in price point and quality.
Fur felt is the highest quality in felt. And the highest quality fur is Beaver fur. This felt will last generations. If you have a problem with using Beaver fur the next best thing is an invasive species in the Beaver family called Nutria. There is then a beaver/rabbit blend, 100% rabbit, and then wool.
